RE: Newhart Legacy, part III

go well. Lefty's social worker called a cab to take him home. Who would have known a Lincoln Towncar would be dispatched to pick him up? Poor Lefty. The poor driver. According to the newspaper story, she was just trying to make some extra cash in her retirement. Mr. Newhart, I am requesting that you set things right for my family. Until you came along, the Dexter name was respected. People knew us for the good things. Our mailbox was always clean and polished. My parents used to run a potato stand at the county festival. Actually, the whole festival was potato stands, but ours was more popular than others. That's because until your album turned us into the town joke, there was a special Dexter spirit. Whenever my father smiled, which he did before the album, his tooth would gleam.
So what is my intent here? I am requesting that the Button Down Mind be recalled and the name of the driving instructor changed. Only this will enable my father and our family to heal and rebuild the glory of the Dexter reputation. As for Lefty, screw him. The lady driving the cab was my grandmother.
Thank you, Milford Dexter
