Bob Newhart is back!
Starring in his fourth major television show in the last 25 years. When asked why he was
returning to TV Bob explained, ''I said to my wife, 'I can't play golf the rest of my
life, I'm going to go nuts. I mean, if the only thing I have to show for all day is 84,
it's not a very productive day. Responding to the desires of the American public Bob will
be giving us "the Bob Newhart we know." So meet Bob Newhart as George
Stoody,
one half of ''George & Leo." While it would seem that this is the first show of
Newhart’s career where he will not be called by his Christian name, he explains
himself: "I really haven’t sold out, as far as the title. I really am --
legally, I’m George Robert Newhart, so I’m still using my name."

Wagonman, Jason Bateman as Ted Stoody, Darryl Theirse as Ambrose, and Bess Meyer / Robyn
Lively as Casey.
Bob Newhart and Judd Hirsch star as George and Leo, an incredibly mismatched pair of
in-laws in this new comedy that begins as George's son, Ted, and Leo's daughter, Casey,
are about to be married on Martha's Vineyard. George, a staid bookstore owner gets stuck
with a permanent visit from Leo, a con man/magician from Vegas who turns his roomie's life
